Does anyone know how this differs (if at all) from the regular subscription? Am I limited to only using the app on my TMobile phone? Would I still have access to mlb.tv on my laptop?
I've subscribed for years to mlb.tv and just switched to TMobile last year so was never able to take advantage of this offer until now...

as far as I see, you need to be connected to the T-Mobile network to claim/redeem the offer; but after that you can log into mlb.com anywhere (phone, tablet, pc, etc)

check it out... worst case it's not what you hoped/wanted and you just pick up your old subscription again (if you're going to keep it).... best case, you get a free year of it

You can watch it on any device. IPad, PS4, Xbox, etc. You do not have to access it through T-Mobile.

Now the trick is trying to cancel my current subscription which auto-renewed on Mar 1 of course.

well this is not encouraging. will try calling but I'm guessing I paid for mlb.tv this year and will have to hope that TMobile continues to offer this next year.
