Butter Level

Can we please get a lower level than bronze. I'm like 30 games under .500 and it doesn't look like things will get better soon. I think there needs to be lower levels. I'm calling for a butter level.

I imagine if there was one it would be "Iron" like the cards. I definitely agree that a lower tier should be added.

I'd like it if in OOTP20 people started in silver or bronze (with Iron added) and get demoted potentially even the first year.. would help sort out relegation a lot faster. The current system won't move teams away from the "iron"/"butter" teams fast enough or efficient enough to let them compete really, whereas dropping teams even the first year would help quite a bit.

maybe an iron level.... and then a 'rust' level below that....

my f2p/pack-only team is languishing in the silver league this season.... only a handful of teams below me so just fighting to avoid relegation in that case...

on the flip side... my daughter had been watching me building my two teams for the first couple weeks (other one is pre-ww2 and fighting for a division lead in silver).... I let her make her own team with the 3rd slot... in her bronze league, her team is 10 games up in their division at 77-49....

I'm thinking I'll never live it down if her team ends up in the same silver league with one of mine and kicks my butt....

(guess I can say I trained her well.... yeah, that's it

)

Do you not think it is better to wait until all the current levels have been filled first before requesting changes?

It is still too early for all the levels to have balanced out.

In ootp20, I plan on fielding an all bronze/iron/historical team that I can insert into any tournaments that pop up. In between tournaments my team will be a complete mess and an easy candidate for the butter league.

My assumption has been that we'll be able to collect players on our roster for just such tournaments without it impacting the way we play the main game. Nothing wrong if that is also how you want your main game to play out, but I don't think tournaments will require us to change anything in our primary team.

I think it would be interesting if everyone started in bronze and some teams were demoted from there while others were promoted.
