Inside the Park Home Runs

I'm in spring training for a newly created league and I'm noticing a lot of inside the park home runs. I haven't investigated too closely yet, but the total number of home runs doesn't feel off, but I'm occasionally seeing two inside the park home runs a game.

It's a 100% fictional league and I *think* I have it set to play using 1985 era stats, but I'm wondering if I have something set wrong. I'd like to make sure it's right before the regular season starts.

Any thoughts?

No clue. I think I've seen 2-3 in my entire 7 year fictional league playing at bat by at bat

Are you playing these games out? Are they indicated in game logs? My first thought is that there is a bug in the PBP showing them as ITP.

Collect several example screenshots and post it as a bug. It may be a simple text choice fix.

Yes. Playing them out. The PBP says it's an inside the park home run and the 3D shows it as well.

Willie Randolph hit one for my New Jersey Bluebirds random debut team today. It is the first that I have seen having played a number of games (30 or so at least). But I was surprised, because when he headed for third it was exciting enough to begin with, but he made it home ahead of the throw. I will watch for more and see if it happens more frequently.

I get the same thing in my fictional league... used most recent year settings (tweaked a bunch of stuff for pitcher stamina/use of relievers/etc, but left the settings for home runs/etc as is)... playing a GM only role, so I just kick off the game and sit back to watch the play-by-play.... think I've seen at least a dozen inside-the-park HRs already (easy to spot as once the ball is driven to the outfield, none of the infielders move to cover second/third)

I play fictional, GM only and play out one game every series. Inside the park homeruns happen at least once a game that's being played out.
