Changing the rules of the game

Is it possible to change the amount of innings played in games?

Basically rather than 9, maybe change it to 4? Also can I remove extra innings, so the game recognises draws?

4 innings seems a bit too low, but I would like to see it possible to eliminate extra innings and recognize draws or to at least see extra innings limited to say 12 innings. Plus, at least some minor league double headers only go for 7 innings each.

Seven inning minor league double headers was a real world practice. It would be nice to see it included in OOTP.

Beyond that, I'd be delighted to be able to alter the rules of baseball in small ways, such as the WBC rules for extra inning games (which I loathe but would like to see where they are used IRL), and large, such as unlimited substitutions, "joker" batters (see pesapallo, the Finnish version of baseball), 19th Century rules for strikeouts and walks, etc.

Given, however, that the development team is still working on AI substitution strategy, I suspect that radical options will have to wait for OOTP 100.

Yes! Changing regulation is something to think about adding in the future. I want to mess around with the amount of hitters in the lineup and change balls/strikes needed for BB/K.
