Having kids
Just like the old version of ootp, it wouldn't hurt bringing it back or atleast having a switch to turn the feature on or off, or maybe having kids that will take over the team after you retire would be pretty realistic

This is really a novelty feature that just doesn’t belong in a serious GM simulation IMO...But as always, YMMV

It wouldn't be realistic in a MLB league I don't think, but I could see it being realistic in a fictional league. Especially if one day we can play as just the owner or owner/GM.

That assumes you are the owner. I'm not aware that one can play that way in OOTP.

I did find it mildly amusing about 11 years ago when my then 14 year old breathlessly announced to his mum that he'd just had his third kid. Mum was not amused at the time.

I'm with PSUColonel on this. I hope he doesn't faint.
