Delete Saved Game/Reset Game
I have been playing a save since getting the beta version a couple of weeks back. Now that the new update is out with the (as close as) opening rosters I now want to start my full long term save.
Am I right in thinking that the ootp folder in 'users/my name/documents' I can delete everything in there in order to delete my current game and not have any files 'lying around' from it? Also the single file that is in my saved games folder. I know not to touch anything in the program files (x86) folder that contains the OOTP folder. Sorry for the silly question but when I start a new save I like to remove all traces of the old one and have the game start as if it was freshly installed - I'm a little OCD that way! Thanks |

you can delete old saves from the 'load game' option, but it can't be a league that is the most recent one used (i.e. - the league that would start it you clicked the 'continue game' choice).
all you need to do is start up a new league... the next time you're at the ootp opening screen, click the load game, then highlight the old league and click 'delete'... the game will clear out all the old files for you. |

Go to your saved games folder, find your league folder. It will be named "leaguename.lg" (whatever your league name is).
Delete that folder - poof, your old league is gone to file 13. Last edited by Bluenoser; 04-03-2017 at 03:27 PM. |

make sure to install each patch to the same place and for the same users
windows system directories can have some funky behaviours relative to what an app can do at times. i'd suggest using custome folders of your own choice
