What's Your Home Screen?

What screen do you guys tend to use as your "home" screen? The manager's office screen is pretty good, I have to admit, but I forget about it and drift to the league home screen which I think is a mishmash mess.

But I click the news & mail icon so often that it becomes my de facto home screen. It's alright, but I wish a few things were different about it:

the list of messages defaulted to the top as soon as you went there
that were a lot more filters to filter out messages I'm not interested in
that the settings were on a different page

What's your de facto home screen and what would you like different about it?

Perhaps it matters how you play the game, or what type of game you are playing,
but for Fictional I start with the Managers Office.

I like the modularity, and how you can customize it.
And I hope to see more of it with 18.

General Manager's Office for the same reasons as two post's above.

the manager office is one time setup and auto-pops me their for important emails.

i don't really have a "home-base."

The front office gives me the most info on one page, though. i've changed a few of the default panes for easier access to certain info. Salaries page helps see the future, but can get that with ML service years and years left column in roster lists, too.

if i went based on time spent on a particular screen it would be my pitching staff screen followed by the Team Players->Minors for my team.... i've been micromanaging promottions - for the filler i do it 1/year and it takes ~10mins per season. MiL teams do better and consistently when i control this.

The game doesn't seem to like my choices for my pitching rotation mixed with "always start highest rested"... i have to force it when my choice for #2 is the ai's #3+, for example (in GM-legacy mode with my rotation choices ignored for some reason?). when this is the case, i spend most of my time on this screen during the season, unfortunately. sometimes get tunnel vision doing something so mundane/repetitive as making sure the right rested pitcher starts... and neglect other stuff while distracted.

I would love to use the managers office as home screen but since I don't manage a team I don't get half the info I would like (schedule,standings, top prospects etc).
For those of us that just watch our leagues unfold instead of actually managing a particular team it would be a nice option to be able to select a 'Favorite Team' to follow closely.
