Naming a team captain

Doesn't mean much, but I always like to mentally do this in any baseball game I play and I really appreciate being able to actually do it.

So this could be a cool feature in next years game.

The game already has so many features that don't really have anything to do with anything. One way to do this already would be to have designated number on your team for team captains and rather than "retire" that number, simply document whoever has worn it through the history of the franchise.
