OOTP Champions suggestion

Right now, the Champions page looks at a player's current card to get his picture. That means that if you're in, say, 1996, and you look at the 1991 champs, a bunch of those players will be wearing different jerseys or have the blue cap of retirement (is it still a blue cap? I forget). I've got to be honest, if I want to see where a particular player is right now, I can click on his little entry in there for myself. To make matters worse, if you have a really old league - let's say you're in 1996 and you look at the champs from 1940 - all of the players are simply wearing the blue hat.

What I'd love to see instead is, right after the World Series is finished and the champion is decided, to have the game copy the pics and save them somewhere else so that when you go back to look at these screens, you see what the players looked like in that year. That also would mean that you'd be saving the old skool uniforms, which to me is what would make this really, really awesome.

That would definitely be a cool feature for sure. Seems easy enough to implement but what do I know about coding? Haha

There should be a toggle... one to show the team as they were in the year they won, and another to show a "where are they now" view. Markus can make FaceGen skeletons for the deceased. Oh, and zombies, too. We need to have zombies.

the champions page never seems to change,it looks like it's still in beta testing.....that horrible silver cup......
why not a stats breakdown of the winning team,their results,a comparison feature,world series results etc.This page has so much potential.

Another solution may be to make baseball cards for all the WS-winnin' players after the championship-clinching game.

Question: You can edit 99% of this game, can't you edit the championship picture trophy as well? I am about to go see if I can figure that out.

This is something that has bothered me for some time. The pictures of the champions should be frozen.
