Whew. What a year. We worked very hard to get the game ready for Opening Day, and we really did it. It was quite a ride, I can tell you that.

A big thanks to all that helped to make OOTP 13 the best game we have ever produced, especially all the guys from the beta team, the roster makers, text & storylines guys and everyone who spent time helping us with the game! You are amazing.

And now, enjoy the game people. We hope you like it!

Ever since version 3, I've been purchasing OOTP. And, every year, I am absolutely amazed by the end result. Thank you for 200+ more hours of playtime. I'm looking forward to importing my league, and winning a few championships with my Cubs.

Agreed with Phils fan, but also I just want to point out. I'm amazed that this game keeps getting faster and faster as my computer gets slower and slower.

Woke up this morning and it was GOOD Friday. Got the email around 9am UK time, so suddenly it was a BETTER Friday. Downloaded, ran the game,entered my license key , so now it's the BEST Friday.

Many, many thanks to Markus and the whole team involved in development and testing. You guys are the absolute best.

Yeah, every year we find something to make the game faster. And if we don't find anything, we invent it

This year we found a "bug" (well it was not a bug, but more like a misusage of a system command) which was there all the time since OOTP 2006. It was the reason why copying a lot of files was so slow. But we found that it was used in several places in the code and improving it made the whole game run faster

Truly incredible. Importing my league took about a minute or two and that's with my 3-4 year old computer (maybe even older)

Granted I had never done that before, but still that's unbelievably fast.

And the loading screens from one to the next it just whips by compared to I believe 11? It's just unbelievable.

Whoever found that did a tremendous job in increasing the speed, which is a nice feature/factor for me. So yet again I say "thanks"
