Sad News : OOTP forum member passes

I recently got word that longtime forum member, Kagnew35, has passed away recently. He had been having some health issues for some time. I had the privilege to work with him on the Historical Facegen Project and had many discussions with him on this, OOTP and many things outside of this.

I felt that some others who have interacted with him would like this information.

Thank you and we'll miss you Bill.

... RIP, kagnew35. I'm sad to hear that you've left us.

I can't say I remember ever really interacting with the guy, but I do remember his posts about his "Duffy's Tavern" chatroom. He certainly seemed to love this game.

Will be missed. I remember spending the last couple hours before the release of ootp 11 talking with him. was great. He seemed so happy just to talk about baseball. Rip friend.

I chatted with him in the "Tavern" for awhile too. Great guy. Loved baseball. Sad to hear this. He'll be missed on many levels.

Ya, same here. He loved to talk baseball. We had some good real life baseball chats via the tavern. That's been a while back though, condolences to the family.

Very sad news. I have fond memories of Kagnew. He was always willing to help any member of the OOTP community. I was hoping he would be the first 80 year old OOTP player.

Perhaps we should ask Markus and Andreas to enshrine him in the Hall of Fame inside the game as a tribute for all he's done for the OOTP community. I think that would be a very fitting memorial.
