Work Vs. OOTP

So I'm being dragged into work on Monday (20th) my normal day off (Sun-Mon)

Now if I really wanted to I could talk my way out of it but I'd be giving up some serious OT.
On the flipside I'd be gaining a full day of gaming.

So what do you think

Should I go into work or say screw it and stay home to play OOTP 12?

Work. Earn the OT; it will help fund your OOTP habit. You're going to be playing this game for a year; a partial day isn't worth giving up the cash for. (Assuming that you can still play it when you get home from work, of course.)

Besides, what if you do stay home only to find out that it isn't available until 4 PM or something?

I'm a teacher. Summer break is here. I don't have to worry about it.

Yeah, the game will probably not be out until late in the day on the 20th. Take Tuesday off instead.

6 PM in Germany = 12 PM Eastern. So I doubt we'll have to worry about a late in the day release.

I don't think Markus ever said it would come out the 20th of June, German time. ISTR a couple years ago, in fact, where he released the game at like 11:30PM EST.

Thank God I made the decision 33 years ago to be a school teacher. Like akw4572, we're on our summer vacation...

I voted for "work". Overtime is the raise you give yourself...

... says the union rep. :P

That said, I turned down OT myself on Monday because I got a date
with an oral surgeon. Whoo. Hoo.

However, I might be in pain and/or still doped up when OOTP12 is released...

... so... maybe I like dentists after all.

Go to work, daydream about OOTP getting paid whilst doing so then go home play OOTP. It's kind of an everyday thing for me

What I want to do is play OOTP 12.

What I have to do is go to work...and be all right in the Army. Another perk of supporting the field artillery...maybe I should just turn off all the bandwidth until it is released and downloaded on my computer....LOL.

Seriously, oh well...it will be next weekend before I can really sit down and enjoy it.

You've worked hard enough and long enough. Life is short. You deserve a break. Home and OOTP sound great.

I voted Monkey Rodeo but in reality you should go to work.

If you don't go in that is kind of like paying what you would of earned to play OOTP. Now don't get me wrong I love OOTP but we have a year of OOTP 12 to enjoy. ;-)

Oh! I was at first thinking you would be giving up serious "Off-topic" time here on the forums. I would have voted that in a tenth of a second of a heartbeat! The longer you can keep from posting, the happier all of us will be.

Alas, I realize you are only concerned about "Overtime...."
