A Question About Patches

I just picked up the Viva Media version of OOTP 11 after being away from the game for a few years. I have version 11.0.0 installed. I only see the update #4 to bring the game up to 11.2.28. Is this the only patch I need to download and apply or are there other patches I need?

The update you see on this website cannot be used by the Viva Media version AFAIK.

Check with Viva.

Thanks for the quick reply and for pointing me to the right place. I see that Viva Media has 4 patches - an initial unnumbered one, 11.2.17, 11.2.23 and 11.2.28. Do I need to use all 4 or does the 11.2.28 incorporate all the changes? Their website doesn't say. I guess I could just download them all, but I'd rather not if I don't have to.

so on the Viva patch page, there are two 11.2.28 patches...Championship version, and -- below that -- deluxe version.

Do you need just one of these two, and which one?

i think i found the answer...on back of my CD box, it says it's the deluxe version, so i'll download that patch.

Here's a dumb question...now that my game has initially loaded, do i still need to pop the CD in every time i want to play?
