newbie question

Hey guys,

first off, if this has been askes/posted before i am truuly sorry to do so again.
Looked through this forum to find answer to my question but it's just to difficult finding it.

I played this a while ago and what I never understood was how do you progress as a manager/GM ? As in moving jobs, getting job offers from bigger teams? Can you get sacked ?

Or do you just decide yourself and commission yourself to a new job?

There's different ways to play the game. For example, you can play in what many of of us call God mode where you either don't manage at all or you do whatever you want whenever you want. Or you can play in just manager mode where you can apply for jobs and maybe you get hired maybe you don't.

You can get fired, but you can also set it where the game can't fire you.

maybe I should read the manual before I decide to play a game.
I never do.
