Trading

How am I supposed to handle trades. I think I'm doing something wrong in my online league. I process the trade and then sim 7 days.

Team A - trades a ML SP for 2 prospects to team B.

I put the 2 prospects in single A for the new team and the ML pitcher in the bullpen for team B after the trade went through.

After I sim 7 days, the prospects are back on the original team and the SP is released the new team?

What the heck am I doing wrong and how should I process an online trade?

Set all teams to not allow AI roster changes.

Even wierder is the game shows the player being traded but still on the original team but played 6 games for the new team.

There is a check box in each team's home page (which is found adjacent to the place you would edit their ballpark.

I think Cooley was referring to the league-wide setting on the functions screen.

The thing I don't get is are these trades with AI teams and if not, why would his suggestion work? If the trade is with human teams, I can't think of why part of the trade would be reversed and other players be released. For the latter could it be that their DFA period isn't long enough and/or he has it set where players are released if they're not moved fast enough from being DFA'd?

I actually have it set in both places. League setup and on each team's screen.
