Negro League Uniforms
I am proud to announce the first release of my Negro League uniform collection. It represents the era of the late 1930's-1950's. It even includes a semi-historical representation of teams of the 'minor league' Negro Southern League. You can find the file here.

You're welcome Simmo, I'm glad you enjoy them. There's more to come, all pre-1930 goodies. This is why I haven't even started my own leagues yet!

Hey No Pepper -- I really love your Negro League uniform collection! I clicked the allsimbaseball link you gave in order to download them, but when I transferred to the site I got a message that Windows will not allow me to download from the site.
Is allsimbaseball.com experiencing any problems that you know of? |

I really do like it alot.
Now if we can just get Facegen worked out so that they don't create 'Spock' ears for everyone. That looks ridiculous. But those uniforms are sweet. ![]() |

Thanks guys, I was wondering if anyone was using these. I've got earlier Negro League uniforms, but I haven't worked on those in a while to release them.
Antonin, the download link on allsimbaseball just worked for me. I am running Win XP. Maybe your browser is preventing a download, blocking pop-ups or cookies? If you can't get it working, send me an email/PM with your email address and I can send it to you.

Thanks, No Pepper. I was able to get the file to download.
My plan was to create an integrated United Baseball League starting in 1950, including several Negro League teams and several minor/independent league teams (jerseys etc from your gorgeous independent league collection). I created the league and then manually loaded the jerseys etc for each team, but unfortunately OOTP crashed when I tried to save the league. I began again and loaded the jerseys etc for 3-4 teams, and was able to save, but I have not been able to complete the process for the whole league. At some point I always get a crash. I am not a computer expert so I think I must be doing something wrong. But I've spent so much time this weekend on this particular league I think I will set it aside for now. But I must say your uniforms are absolutely beautiful! |

NoPepper, I'm using some of your negro league and minor league as they are and I've modified some of the plain white historical uniforms with my own lettering or logos and changed the colour of collars etc. They've been much appreciated

Simmo, I'd like to see your modified plain whites. Share them, please!

NoPepper, Here are a few examples. They're fairly basic but I was trying to get a sort of generic "Old School" feel, which is why I've increased the percentage of five-o-clock shadow on the facegen settings! It seems, to me, to be redolent of those photos of hard nosed ballplayers that stare grimly out of the pages of books like Don Honig's Illustrated History of the National League and American League. A couple of these look a little too cheerful on second thoughts but you get the idea.

I am currently working on the Negro Leagues of the 20's and 30's to try and round out an already exhaustive set of uniforms. Apart from the obscure teams, if anyone has any photographic reference of either of the Cuban Stars teams (East, West, Stars of Cuba, etc), I would be very appreciative. I have two uniforms but I cannot identify which is East and which is West and one of them is from the early 1900's (West). I'll post an update in the coming week.

Progress so far...debating on whether to provide unis for more of the "one year in and out" teams. Both the Negro National League and the Eastern Colored League:
