Schedule
I have a custom league and a custom schedule. For the Intra-League games, the schedule is the same pattern each year - in other words, the schedule of these games is based on where you placed the previous year.
However, for interleague games, it seems like this pattern doesn't hold up. So, if I wanted to have the first place teams of each division play each other, I can't get the schedule to do that automatically for interleague play (for instance, NL East 1st place vs. AL East 1st place from last year). Is this correct? Thanks, BKL |

I don't believe you can get the game to do it automatically, you'll probably have to do it manually each year for interleague games.

What you could do is to get the output of the schedule and do the following:
For all interleague games change the nl or the al team numbers to alpha and save the file keep the opposite league with numeric numbers. At the end of the year find the placement of the league with the numbers and the placement of the teams with the alpha. Here is where it gets tricky. Copy the file and for each alpha team give it the team id of the team you want to play the other league. Replace the alpha team with the new team number you want to replace it with. Make sure to keep the copy with the alpha chars for the next years schedule..... This will allow you to replace the matchups with minimal work, other than the first time you do this...... I hope this helps.... |
