Strategy settings in historical league

I'm in the midst of simming a fictional historical history of baseball and have come to wonder if the strategy settings will automatically change as the years go by in the same way that statistics will roughly mirror real baseball history. Or must I go in and change pitching rotations to 5 men and more frequent reliever usage, for example?

I assume that if it is manual, some enterprising soul has published guidelines on when to change what. I would appreciate being pointed to that if such a thing does exist.

Just make sure these two boxes are checked in your league settings & it'll be done for ya.

To answer the original poster's question, I'm not sure that changes the *strategy* settings though. In fact, I am pretty sure that it does not.

hmm. Maybe that isn't what does it, but something does - cuz mine have been changing automatically.

Sorry, hopefully someone else knows what that is; cuz I just assumed having the auto-modifiers checked did it.
