Tabs missing

Random tabs at random times on random screens are missing. Example: during the draft it wouldn't let me choose between high school and college players. I exit off that screen then came back and it was there. This has happened with other tabs too.

On the roster screen? I'm presume you're using the new patch, but this (and the transaction screen) was fixed in a previous build (if battists pops in, I think it was 12225?). I'm worried that it may have got unfixed.

I know it was unfixed on the depth chart/lineups screens (TT2182).

correct, on the roster screen

also, if you go to list all players in the organization and choose a position, the scroll bar doesnt resize and there are a ton of blank lines. i am on the latest patch.

lastly,

there still seems to be a slight memory leak when releasing large amounts of players from the roster screen.

Yeah, I've definetly seen that latter thing. I probably should have reported that when I verified the original fix.

Right, I'm running 15558 at this second and I'm not seeing this problem. I'll try 15560 once I've worked out which link is correct!

The TTs that refer to this are TT2083 and TT2231.

I'm now running 15560 and I'm not seeing this? Is it simply the big league 'ROSTER' screen, with Filter 'AAA' (or something) and position filters on? I'm not seeing it with the affiliates either?

Certainly on my machine TT2083 and TT2231 are fixed, which makes me think this might be a different issue altogether? Is there anything weird about the screens?

Time to hope someone more knowledgeable than me floats by...

Well, I already told you about the filter and position drop-down menus, but I later saw that the scouting drop-down menu also sometimes disappears. The screens I saw them disappearing from were the roster, pitching, lineups, and depth chart screens. The only menu I haven't seen disappear yet is the view one. I'll attach an example screenshot, but different menus disappear at different times.

You know, I don't think this merging of threads is the best of ideas. When someone like yourself asks for more info and the person goes back to reply, if you've merged threads then the notification link no longer works and the person has to do a search to find the merged thread (if they even think that's what might have happened at all), or they might just give up thinking the thread was deleted. It might help you guys, but if you really want a reply you're not making it easy. I wasn't even going to try this link as "Tabs Missing" didn't sound like my problem at all because these are disappearing drop-down menus not tabs, but I saw the icon that I had posted in it, which I didn't remember posting in, so I tried it.

Anyway, I'm not bitching at you. I'm just saying, if you really want replies to be easy to give, you might not want to merge threads.

This problem also occurs when playing out games. There doesn't appear to be any real pattern to it. I might go to get a PH and click on "batters" then go to the opponents screen to look at what they have in the pen that could potentially come in to face my PH. Go back to my screen and almost any one of the menu pulldowns may be missing. Then go to another screen (opponents, broadcast, boxscore, anything seems to do) and come back and the menu pulldown has returned.

So, this happens every once in a while after I sim and then go to league transactions/waivers. The button to view by position is missing (see pic). It should be between the two buttons that are showing. If I click between tabs for a bit the button sometimes reappears.

I am using the newest patch.

I'm having the same problem as that guy, and yes TC I have the latest patch.

I'm noticing the same thing on a lot of my other screens. Some times certain buttons just don't show up. And there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it that I can detect.

For example, if I go to a team and toggle between the "Roster", "Pitching", and "Lineup" tabs, the buttons for View, Filter, Position, and Scout all randomly appear and disappear. I'll run through a sequence real quick:

Roster: View YES, Filter YES, Position YES, Scouting NO
Pitching: View YES, Filter NO, Position YES, Scouting YES
Lineups: View YES, Filter YES, Position YES, Scouting NO
Roster: View YES, Filter YES, Position NO, Scouting YES
Pitching: View YES, Filter YES, Position NO, Scouting YES
Lineups: View YES, Filter NO, Position YES, Scouting YES

I can keep clicking back and forth and it'll constantly change.

I am using 1.0.2 Final, I am doing a historical league started in 1970, and I'm using a default view with no filter so I don't believe this is related to the "Scouting/Splits button overlap" issue that people have been talking about.

Are any other people noticing this? It's extremely obnoxious and hope it'll get fixed in a patch.
