Free diamond pack gave me a 100 Mort Cooper on the Patriots. Chuffed to bits about that one. First historical perfect for me this game.

This is the fault of nobody in this thread. I wanted to try to be in this league but it seems like that is becoming an impossibility. Not only does the friends list feature fail to work I now cannot submit my roster because I am being accused of tanking. Yes I have a few diamond players that are not in my lineup but they are all live players which are against the leagues rules.

You're completely free to use said live players until OL has started proper, which will obviously help with the anti-tanking, but have you not considered selling some of those live diamonds off and replacing them with high rated non-lives?

Best bet might be to sell the diamonds if you can.

If I was only playing an OL league then maybe. But I would like to use these other live cards in tournaments and for collections. I guess my point is I shouldn't have to sell these cards. Also, whether I'm allowed to use these cards this week or not is not a solution. Isn't everyone going to run into a similar problem next week or the week after anyway? I'm also assuming it is talking about my diamonds. Maybe not. My bullpen is the pits right now. I have other non-live cards that would make it better but they are on the reserve roster right now.

I'm not actually sure you're gonna need any of the diamonds for collections as it stands. Depends on the team.

Okay. I'm not going to argue with people on here. If that is the mentality then this definitely isn't for me. I should be able to keep whatever card I choose for whatever and not be forced to sell them to play by a certain rule set.

This is only an argument if you wanna make it one. You do not have to sell them, but I'm just trying to tell you that depending on what team the diamonds you have are on, it may be more beneficial to sell them so you can buy non-live cards to get around the automatic tanking warnings.

You do you though. It ain't my job to tell people how to go about their business. These were all mere suggestions. Your call whether or not you want to heed the advice given.

I encountered this last year and was initially a bit gobsmacked. With a bit more investigation, I found that it didn't take a lot of adjustments to clear the anti-tanking. I suggest you swap cards one at a time (making sure to keep your pitching and lineups complete), hitting the submit button with each change until it accepts your roster, then investigate what you need to replace the live players with.

What's the makeup of your team?

P.S. I suggested selling the live cards because it's probably the quickest 'solution' and they can be reacquired very easily, but obviously you don't want to do that if you're using them for tourneys.

kinda felt the same at first myself (thought about holding onto the few diamond Live cards for either tourney or collections).... but I checked out some of the "Live complete" missions and found that they could be done without locking diamond (at least the ones I spot checked).... now maybe future mission releases will have them as well, but I figure by then the live diamonds will be a dime-a-dozen and I can reacquire them for face value anyway (if I don't pull them in a pack)...

for tourneys.... again, just my 2 cents, but my cards aren't going to compete in Diamond+ tourneys, so my tourney focus at the start has been Silver/Bronze/Iron....

but if you are looking to keep them anyway, does moving them to the 'inactive' list make a difference with the tanking message? Never seen it myself so haven't had a chance to tinker with where cards are at to see if that actually prevents it (versus having them on the 'reserve' roster)

68 rated Bronze starter - Stan Baumgartner - rag arm stuff is being generous, but killer movement and decent control getting the job done.

As someone who ran one of his OL teams with only gold cards I found having the my better cards inactive instead of on my reserve roster avoided any objection
