It's June 1 in Bundesrepublik Deutschland, which means the game can now be released at anytime between now and 11:59 p.m. on 6/6 (Bundesrepublik Deutschland time).

Not that I think it matters a whole lot to them what day they release on, but the expansion OOTP6.5 was released Tuesday, June 14, 2005.

Sorry, when I was looking up the dates, i didn't include 6.5. I don't consider it a full version, just an expansion. All of the full versions have been released on Wednesday or Friday.

Yeah, I noticed your previous post on release dates awhile ago and wanted to gather a little more info (links to the release newsletters and threads) and maybe add it to wikipedia. OOTP8, which I guess you didn't count since it was mostly just a re-branding of OOTP2007, was released Saturday, December 8, 2007.

If someone has release info for OOTP3 and before, I'd like to get it.

Eh. Some people do up elaborate fan sites dedicated to their favourite celebrities. Some of us, instead, collect info on our favourite game's history. I'm not too embarrassed by it.

Hey all, I'm new to this forum and the ootp series. Lol I'm probably new to baseball, only been watching for a few years. From the UK so it's not that big here, don't know why, because it's amazing. anyway I've preordered the game.
