Well here is some good news. I just saw this on the ootp homepage when you click on the OOTP 23 ad. Player faces! Now will it be the same faces that facegen makes? I'm not looking for an exact duplicate but at least getting the same facial features like hair color, style, etc.

Whoa! I always expected that at some point facegen would be integrated into the 3d gameplay, but I didn't think it would happen so soon. I assumed we'd see jersey numbers added before faces, but the trailer didn't appear to have them.

Andy where on the ootp site did you see this information. I just looked there and couldn't find it.
i am most interested to look into that the facegen faces now would actually appear in the 3d playouts of the game. That would be a key feature if it is what it says it is.

Why isn't everything that is released about v23 being posted here too? With the growth of social media it's been this way for a few years now and that pretty much sucks. Shouldn't users, that maybe don't use a lot of social media, but have been coming here for 20+ years be included?

I mean this is the company forum, right? Is it really that hard while the promo team puts out info to also put it here? A thread with a link to wherever is all that is needed unless it links to a site that requires an account. In that case, bite the bullet, do the extra work, and post it here.

Because they know the people on this forum are going to buy the game no matter what. For better or worse, marketing is about getting new people to buy the game and this forum isn't where those people are at. Basically, regular buyers are taken for granted.

Click the Pre Order banner, then AGAIN click OOTP23 on the next screen. The part that says "Out of the Park Baseball 23 [PC & Mac]" as a hyper link - brings up a window. See if this link brings it up direct...

I see nothing in here about it and TBH that would be a lowkey harder task than one might think (the numbers on the back are more or less in the same place for everyone but some uniforms use a background, etc., and a lot of teams also put uniform numbers on the front of the jersey as well) so while it *could* just be a thing they added in under the purview of "improved uniforms", my guess is that it involves enough work that they'd call it out directly even if only in passing.
