I agree and would extend that even to two more years. I just think they really misread the room when they balked and distanced themselves from Dolan's statement. They, and the team, would have been better served if they had, at the very least, just let it hit the news, and let Dolan pay. In essence, that misanthropic pile of dung Wilson cost them their jobs. As for Drury, he's done a terrific job in putting JD's vision in place in Hartford, where I believe he was given nearly free reign by JD and Gorton. Ah well, let's hope that he's learned his lessons well and that Dolan doesn't think he's the one who thought of it. |

If it's from 2019, yes. However, this old timer is wondering, what's a Kirby Yates? |

- About 50% are worth between 100-200pp - 35-40% are worth 200-1000pp - 10-15% worth 1000-10,000pp (1 at 13k) - Estimated average of just under 1000pp - Most of the silvers I've sold would probably be consistent with that 1k average, I reckon. Compared to silver packs, I figure that regular packs have a 40% chance at silvers, but a 200% chance at everything else. With my luck at the moment, I'll take 200% ![]() By the way. I wasn't really thinking about forum conversations when I came up with Tinkerman. If anyone wants to call me Sam, feel free ![]()

Perfectos Grab Lead as OL B248 Turns Toward Home
Annadale slipped badly at 3-10, while Lemp Ave. maintained their pace at 7-5 to allow the Perfectos to grab the top spot down the stretch. The race is tight, with the top eight teams separated by just three lengths. Rather than trying to lay out the many possibilities, I've attached the schedule of the remaining OL games. It reveals a very busy month of action.

Slipped badly is a nice way to put it. I had a nine game losing streak that included 6OL games. Happily, the win that snapped that streak was a no-hitter by Verlander.
Yesterday it was a bad one all around. My tournament team could not get out of the first or second round all day. I went to bed having won zero packs, which is uncommon for me since I I am spamming the heck out of them and I did not change my team from the day before. However, my luck changed overnight as I won two of the three tournaments I was in. Here's what one of my packs contained: Last edited by Charlatan; 05-08-2021 at 10:12 AM. |

Silver league:
Cedar Rapids took 2 of 3 from Waffletown to finish out the OL games for this season. Overall, Cedar Rapids sits 1.5 games back of their division lead, but hold a 2.5 game lead in the WC race. Cary should have no trouble holding the top WC spot with a 10.5 game lead there, but they will have their work cut out for them should they advance and have to go through Whale-town in the LDS. Waffletown still cling to their division lead with a 5.5 game lead heading into the final month of the regular season. |

Hey BOTS, I can't imagine that buying a silver pack is worth it. While you do have the small chance to get a valuable one, there is probably a much larger chance you will get a live Silver, most of which are worth 150-ish. I personally would rather buy 2 regular packs than one silver pack (and I haven't bought any packs at all this year, been trying to earn them thru tournaments).

Iron 207
I know this is late and I did not have a lot of time for double checking but here is the Iron 207 standings:
It is now a two way race between the Boulder City Wreckers and the Algoma Penguins. |

Yes, I too don't think the reward is worth "wasting" an extra 1,000PP to get them. I am not sure if anyone else saw this however, the first 5-6 packs I opened the day following the release of the Silver Packs, I starting seeing a higher than normal amount of Silver rated cards in my standard packs. After that short period, the Silver cards "dried up". Early on, I bought a handful of Historical Packs which were a huge disappointment so I don't plan on doing that again unless I am sitting on so much PP that I don't want to open a ton of standard packs. As for Gold Packs, I have only opened the ones I have earned either from Challenge Mode or from completing Missions, and I have no plans on purchasing any of those. Compared to past versions of PT, I am having "better luck" with the Standard Packs in PT22 so I plan on just buying those from now on, when needed. I have been lucky as of late and between acquiring a decent amount of Tournament Award Standard Packs and getting Drop Packs, I am getting a "steady income". As for the Keystones' current season, they were about a .500 club until picking up Heavy Johnson. Since then, I changed out a few players who weren't playing well and we are currently looking good going into the Stone 102 Playoffs. I am having alot of fun seeing some of my starting Bronze and Silver rated players tearing it up against opposing team's High Diamond Rated players! ![]() |

a couple moves the Men are late to announce...
up late thur night, foolishly chasing the Piazza BAL, we received in one of the reward packs: not really sure where to play him except everywhere. much needed super-utility bat. no other big moves are expected (but will be welcomed) besides some BAL players taking their place on our bench. Fernandez is versatile, I am a Mets fan (Piazza) & curious what some of the others can do. thinking of moving Hebner.

Gettysburg wins Stone
With just a few games left in the regular season, and no OL games remaining, the Gettysburg Bullets clinch the OL St102 title.
No teams to be relegated. Three or four will be promoted. |

Lemp Ave Edges Port Ruppert in Showdown Series to Win OL B248
The Perfectos headed into their final OL series of 2026, knowing they'd be enjoying the homey comforts of The Mansion and also secure in the knowledge that they'd need just a single win over the late-charging Mundys to secure the crown. Port Ruppert proved unwelcome guests, putting their grass stained spikes up on the furniture, taking the first two games, 7-3 and 8-3, to run their final month OL winning streak to five straight. With the Mundys leading 3-1 in the sixth inning of game three, Lemp Ave. catcher Bob O'Farrell blasted a one-out grand slam home run off Mel Harder, as the Perfectos plated six runs and clinched the crown with a 7-3 triumph that saw Silver King notch his 21st. Port Ruppert prevailed in game four, 4-1, to take the season series, and close the final gap to just 1/2 game.
In the PT playoffs, an all OL final four is possible after Port Ruppert made the wild card in game 163. Las Vegas will be headed to iron, while there are three possible promotions. Last edited by Stanley Kuppchaser; 05-09-2021 at 07:15 AM. |
