No, you do not need the verification email for PT. Just go ahead and log in, it'll work.

I am doing that. I reregister the username and email and password and this is what I get.

A pop-up window that says:

I have tried it many times. I pretended to forget my password and got a different pop-up error message. I got into PT at the end of last season and would really like to explore it further. This is discouraging.

Any ideas?

It's possible that a firewall is blocking the game's access to the server.

Can you try whitelisting OOTP in any firewall or anti-malware programs you're running, then try connecting again?

Thanks for getting back to me Lukas. I turned off all firewall and anti-malware programs temporarily and the same pop-up error occured.

Not sure where to go from here.

The error you're getting definitely indicates some sort of a computer / local network / ISP connection error, as your computer is not even getting to the point of being able to contact the server.

So if a firewall is not the issue (and do just triple-check to make sure you don't one running you don't realize, the default Windows firewall f.e.), then reboot your router, restart your computer, try those sort of basic connection issue related things.

I did everything you said and the same thing happened. I just tried to login to OOTP22 and the login worked just fine, so it seems to be an issue with 23...my connection seems fine...not sure what else to try

If you can try to connect with the debug turned on and get us a copy of the trace file, that might have some additional helpful information for us.

There has to be a way to manually unlink a mistake. It looks like I put in the wrong username for my primary file and now I am toast. That is really disappointing. Hopefully someone can help!

much appreciated.... I was able to figure out one of my alternate PT IDs emails, but still can't figure out the third one, so being able to see it on the CM site would be huge.

any chance the option to update/change the email associated with the login ID on the CM site would be a future option? Could be handy, especially if someone used something like a work email 4 years ago and no longer work there, or the like.

When I set up my account on beta, I received 3 golds as my loyalty reward. It was stated above that we were supposed to get 2 golds for playing 21 and 22, or 1 diamond, 1 gold, and 1 silver for 20, 21, and 22. I'm not sure if the anomaly was because I skipped a year (I played 19, 21, and 22), but I thought I was going to earn the same packs as those that played the last three years in reducing the bonus to the next level. Is this a potential bug? I figured I'd ask since PT is being delayed anyway, and I'd really like my diamond pack. =)

I logged in, but it's still the team from the beta.

When I attempt to register for rewards to rip packs, I get "Error: E-mail is already in use!"

Perhaps the DB has not been completely reset yet.

EDIT: Just saw PT has been delayed.

If you skip a year, you lose the loyalty reward for the year before you skipped. It's counting consecutive years back from this year. So in your case, you'd get three gold packs, which is what it sounds like you did get.

The loyalty reward bonus is 2 gold packs for that. But I believe it was also mentioned somewhere that anyone who pre-orders or orders in the first week gets an extra gold pack as well. That pack is separate from any loyalty bonuses.

I'm almost exclusively a Perfect Team player (pretty obsessively). I'm enjoying the beta release and would like to continue to try it out so I'm better prepared when the real version comes online. But I'd also like to try the newer version of other OOTP sims as well. If I download the official launch version that dropped today, will I lose access to beta PT23?
