Dang. I would love to have just ONE of those awesome cards like Cobb or Bonds.

Seems like kind of an odd mishmash though, I'm guessing that's why he's not winning more games. Like, Bonds & Trout are completely opposite from Betts & Cobb in the parks that would maximize their skills.

He's also got only 4 relievers in the pen. Strange.

Wow...quite the team. I feel like this would have been a lot of fun in the other league...so many different combinations to try.
I wonder if the team is already to auto-play until weekend or to auto-play for rest of OOT19 lifespan. Is he training players?

Sad but that is likely thousands of dollars unused and maybe abandoned (can't tell...just assuming since there is no player with a 14-day delay on the image).

Wish I could show you his reserve roster... trust me those diamonds go down a LONG way...

My Blue Gryphons may well lose the AC to him before the year's done, but right now sitting several games up on him (I'm 60-30, he's 55-32), and his "cap" hit is at 105. With potential to easily put a 125 (max) team out there with the investment he's made, and then some. His reserve roster is at 351 cap points!!!

Point being... there really is something to be said to just how tough that league was.
Why would he use the 97 OVR Trout over the 100?

I can only imagine, but wondering if just got it and wanted to see how he does (I was never blown away by what he produced that's for sure), or training at a new position?

Yeah agreed. Safe to say it's a fully fledged whale team though!!

actually I take it back, it's mostly a different kind of bad luck. Currently sitting at a -9 Pythag

I think the league I got in is much tougher. Looks like about 10 salary cap teams and none are leading any division.

The lack of discussion and competition removed a lot of the fun for me.
I miss the drama and hilarious comments.
I feel like I learned a lot more in the other league and read lots of interesting subjects (Aussie sports, baseball cards, ....).

I already reached out to Zorro to make a mini-friends list so that we could compete in the same league against whales / other teams.
It just is more fun with others that I know and that like to post about what is going on.
yeah, I've been back to talking to myself in my dynasty thread since my boys dropped back to gold.... having an active group definitely makes it more fun

If there is enough interest, I offer to do the work that Orcin did (probably not as nicely as he did) but we can all roam for some more time and then do another points-based league.

I don't know if there is sufficient interest...just throwing it out there.
I enjoyed the active discussion list more than me being able to play all my top players.

It does seem tougher in the real perfect world I guess? But then again, my team always seemed to have major losing streaks throughout the season.

I think it depends on what kind of team you got. With Joe and I we have to downgrade so the 50 and under was tougher. If your team does not have to downgrade then It is easier for you Because all the teams are even. (Not saying I am better at all but what I am saying is it is easier to beat me in a capped league then in a reg league because of my total players) like Zrog always says and he is correct that a team with a lot of high end players who get to play unlimited ball well.....They have a big advantage.

Not sure I 100% agree. I have 2 teams in perfect and I put the lessor one in the mini whale. My other team won a championship at every level and I could of sold the perfect rated players for real good Diamond or Gold players. But instead I spent time and money trying to update a team that I really did not plan to make the perfect level. Unfortunately, as I upgraded it seemed my team was similar to all the other teams.
Also, working two jobs, does not allow me to have the time.

I learned from you Zorro that managing a team can make a difference.
