This happens to me, also. It's an OOTP problem. I've had it happen with Silvam's and others too. Just simply exit out of the uniform settings page and go to another page say your teams home page. When you go back to the uniform settings page, you'll see the textures. Works for me.

Well I think you explained it. If you aren’t copying the normal map with the Jersey file
Into the /data/jerseys directory, then this will happen

The auto load button always loads the textures for me if the are in the data/jerseys directory

The normal maps are in the extract. I tried what others have suggested and left the preview and came back and there was more texture, though it didn't have the darker shadows like the first image I posted. Maybe it has to do with the way the normal map is created or something.

Finally setup my historical Twins game on my new laptop. I normally only play on desktop but since I retired I thought the laptop a good idea so, when visiting the kids, or just being out of town, I could take my OOTP with me. From now on it's historical on laptop, on-going dynasty on my desktop with the large screen.

Silvam, the unis look great. No surprise there. I can't believe you and No Pepper got all of this done so quickly.

Great work guys, thank you! Has anyone heard when the OOTP dev team will release the new format for caps? They often disappear off the heads of players when reloading a saved game-

I just had this same thing happen to me today. Then while trying to reload the cap and trying others, they all turned black on me. All of them. Even in my other saves and for every team. I tried force game data re-installation. Did not work. I had to install the last update again to get it back.

I have windows 10. It seems like I'm having a problem with the new caps that were made with the new era logo and MLB logo. That's when it all started. Had no problem before that. In fact after I just fixed it, it did it again. I'm now going to remove all new caps and see how that goes. Frustrating.

The uniforms aren't deadball era style so I wish OOTP or the cool new uniform creator would be able to make them look more deadball. It's great for the new modern unis but anything before 1940, it's looks rough. They need stirrups, baggy pants and jerseys etc. And if we go back to the early 1900's, special collars etc. I hope that's more implemented in future updates. I've done uniforms for all my teams in my league, but these look great. Good job guys.

Thanks. I was just curious since Macs seem to have a few graphics issues that don't show up on pc.

Hopefully I don't see it in my pc game.

Interesting that it happens with the "new era" mod caps. I've just started installing all of the mod unis, with caps. My first thought too, reading your post, would be to go back to default OOTP caps and see if that fixes it. Of course for historical play this wouldn't be the best answer. It does seem kind of weird?

I may just do a preemptive reinstallation of default for now.

I believe these are all limitations because of OOTP and it's templates. At least for the pants, IE stirrups etc., for sure. Someone made some stirrup pants trying to modify what OOTP has and they ended up "not so good".

I would hope there is expansion for this feature in future versions.

I completely re-did my caps folder. So far so good. I'm starting to lean towards a corrupt cap file or maybe a conflict of cap files that caused the program to return black caps. Hope it stays now.
