NO, No, No! Why? He is nothing but trouble. I would be surprised if any team signed him.

Except he didn't do anything wrong.

With one of the three that claimed sexual assault but the other two are still outstanding. He was black listed from MLB for a reason.

Yes but he has still yet to hit a Homerun and that is becoming a problem with many on this team. Hopefully they will snap out of it soon as it is a critical part of their offensive strategy.

I could care less if he hits home runs if he makes great defensive plays.

Mariners are only 1 game out of first.

You are too short sighted. I mean yes if the season ended today, wait, they are STILL one game out just like last year, so your point is really meaningless at this stage of the year. What is important is how they are playing as a team. Nice two game winning streak but the bats need to get going and show some consistency and that starts with Julio. He is not some reserve defensive outfielder as you seem to be happy with. He needs to hit 30-30 like last year or better for this team to make a playoff run. Is that really so hard to grasp?

He doesn't need to hit 30 home runs. He needs to have a 7.0 WAR and he can do that without home runs, considering his defense and speed(stolen bases).

I hear you and do not disagree. I realized that he actually had a terrible start last year into May. I have high expectations for him but this sweep of the Reds will hopefully get this team going and maybe Julio will start hitting soon. He is fun to watch on defense for certain. I am still rooting for a 30-30 season for him.

9-10 heading into Colorado and frankly Castillo and Gilbert are having insanely terrible luck so far, Castillo if memory serves is allowing something like a .448 BABIP and Gilbert is also amongst the league worst at .380ish. Once they have even normal amounts of BABIP luck their seasons will turn around, I think Gilbert has like a 3.06 FIP.

Yeah the Ms obviously have had some bad luck. I think we can be a 95 to 100 win team or even better with some good luck(trade deadline acquisitions).

4 in a row! Now if they can just get over .500 and build on that. Julio is en Fuego though I would trade two hits for a dinger! Luis was unhittable!

If JROd wants to be the next Tony Gwynn I am fine with that.

I loved Tony Gwynn but I would rather he channel his inner Griffey or Mays as that is what this team needs more than a singles and doubles hitter. But just win baby!

Mariners are 4-1 with Jonatan Clase starting I think he should be batting leadoff not 9th.

Now that JP might be out for a while, maybe? I'm not super jazzed on his ability to get on base though.
