When I joined the OOTP boards, almost 20 years ago, I was on dial-up. I turned off signatures as a way to help the forums load faster. I never turned them back on.

Who would decide if a signature is political or not? What about off-topic signatures? What if it is something I disagree with Ie sig My team is the Yankees, I don't like sig since I am a Red Sox fan and find that offensive. Or what if it is off-topic for this forum but is part of the OOTP world, such as an FHM signature. Where will it end? I need more people telling me how to think, please, please, please.
