Just checked it out.

After looking at the Royals, I noticed a few people missing and a few people that aren't even with the Royals anymore. But, overall, it is an excellent start. It is MUCH better than anything we have been given to date. Infact it is good enough that I can make the necessary changes myself and start a franchise.

Good work

Good morning.

I'm about to release an update this morning. It'll be available at the same link. The stats are corrected, as I went ahead imported again, so you won't need to go all sorts of bizarre measures to get ratings v. stats right.

The only other thing I did, was change league totals to match what SkyDog put in his one post in the discussion forum of OOTP a while back. (Just search for it), as I thought this might contain wacky numbers. In most cases, it's better to find the league settings that work for you and adapt the game to those, since we're all different.

I'll be updating them in a little while, so if you've downloaded them and want a different look, go ahead and take this one, as I think it'll be a bit better.

I updated Roger Clemens to be 'injured' because of an undisclosed injury from Jan 1st until June, so we won't go coming back before then. I also edited some of the Triple-A clubs.

This file has a different name (the league file inside the zip) so that, when you install it, you can compare the two.

Anyway, here is the update.

Link isn't working

How far are you with updating players to correct teams, etc.?

Give me a minute. I'm going to fix something and then I'll put it back.

Good call

Maybe we should start a list of missing players and their info. So both you can update them to your roster file and those that already started can add the players to the appropriate teams....just a thought.

That would be handy. I can find their info if you provide just the names.

My most updated set is now uploaded and can be accessed via the link I posted before. (either one, it's the same named file)

One thing i am finding weird about this newer version...nobody has any players in AAA. However, when i go to the team transactions screen the block in the top right says it's 25/25 active players but there seems to be all the extra players included there as well.

Other than that,
Keith Foulke and Ramon Vazquez are no longer with the Indians.

Also if you are looking to update active roster stuff;
Adam Miller should be in AAA
Jake Westbrook should be SP
Wes Hodges to AAA
Franklin Gutierrez AAA
Mike Rouse to MLB
Ryan Garko to MLB
Jason Davis to MLB
Tom Mastny to MLB
Ramon Hernandez to MLB

I think you need to "run computer manager on all teams" to get the teams to populate the minors from the reserve rosters. I didn't do that 2nd time around. My bad.

Asdrubal Cabrera is with the Indians
Travis Blackley is with the Giants
Clint Nageotte is with some other team
Emiliano Fruto is with the Nats
Michael Garciaparra is with the Phillies

All the 2006 stats are still wrong.

EDIT: saw the run comp manager bit

huh?

I believe you are trying to start a historical league or something...What you want to do is just move the .lg folder from darkcloud's download into your 'saved games' folder. After that just start up the game and choose Load Game and there you will be able to pick the set up from there.

Mouse over the 'Game' dropdown (left of the baseball)
Select 'Game Setup'
Click the 'League Setup' tab
Click Add Minor League (in the bottom right)

Good luck
