The batter-pitcher match-up (I don't know how a baseball game can get away with not featuring it) and the brighter ballpark image make a huge difference! Before you posted the new ballpark image I was going to say I still prefer Puresim's because of its more airy at the ballpark feeling to it, but it's a much closer decision with that image. I'm still not a big fan of the scoreboard, but overall the screen is much more palatable. Great job!

Hmmm. That's going to play a bit of havoc with player coordinate settings unless those are changing with the graphic. A bit of a tradeoff, but not a bad one.

The ones on the screenshot are the old coordinates, so it works without editing anything

That's always been there, I think. It's for when you are only watching the game because you have no control over either side and can only "1 - Continue." It does not appear on the second screenshot because I believe Markus said it's from his own fictional league.

I was referring to coordinates that have been tweaked a bit to suit taste; those may have to be redone. But, not a big problem, considering.

May I request that the career stats be placed at the bottom rather than the top of the pitcher and batter cards in the webcast screen?

Excellent job Markus, Cleared up one of my 'dislikes' with the game.

One more favor to ask. Would it be possible to have last years stats instead of carrer stats displayed in webcast. Could that be made an option down the line. I personally like seeing last years stats to compare the two years. I find the career stats to be too much to look at.

Keep up the good work.

Rats.

I was hoping the annoying "pause after every at-bat" thing was finally fixed.

I have to say that PureSim always seemed like more of a ballgame because of the player photos. This new in-game screen set is AWESOME! I love it and will be playing much more. Thanks Markus.

Fantastic work Markus!!! I would think that those who might have lingering doubts about your commitment to OOTP should feel a bit better now.

Keep up the great work!

I'd love to see the previous season statistics (one season, at least) on the broadcast screen similar to 6.5. I always found that information useful as a player that manages each game.

Regards,

Rob

I just noticed something on the first screens you posted (ie before the ballpark was changed, in the Yankees/Orioles game). In the broadcast screen it shows the count to be 1-1, with Damon up, but then on the Webcast screen it shows Jeter up, but with Benson only throwing 1 pitch, for a strike. Unless this is two separate games on the same date (doubleheader?), something is messed up there.

btw, I love the changes to the screens, they look much better. Thanks Markus.

there are 2 items on the in-game screen that should be considered.

on the broadcast screen it would be a major improvement to change the script on the scoreboard and the lineup to a regular, more readable script.

on the webcast screen the ball park dimension screen is very unnnecessary and could be put to much better use. no one who sims games could possibly find that aspect of the screen necessary. could it be possible to put it in an option pull-up for those who want to check it every so often?

Thanks, Markus. I appreciate your efforts to make the in-game graphics better.

Broadcast screen: I really like showing the batter and the pitcher on the same screen.

Team records is a nice plus.

Thanks for not chopping off the logos.

Webcast defensive display is much better. You can read the players names and info much easier than before.

For V2007, I hope you return to the OOTP6.5 stats for the batter showing R, 2B, 3B, BB and K.

Last season stats would be much preferred over career stats.

Overall 6.5 is still a much better in-game presentation.
