In-game screens improved in 1.0.3!

OK guys, I did tweak the broadcast screen, based on the game screen discussion thread, so that both pitcher & batter are available in 1024*768 resolution, team logos are not cut off above the field, and the last pitch speed is displayed in the scoreboard:

Also, I tweaked the webcast screen so the names & ratings on the field display are better readable:

PS: Real players & logos are not included in OOTP 2006, this is for demonstrating purposes only! Trademarks belong to their respective owners

The scoreboard font is called ballpark, so I imagine if you find that font and replace it with another renamed ballpark, then you can indeed change it. I'll try it in a minute and let you know!

Edit: its called atomic clock radio.

Atomicclockradio is the font used on the scoreboard.

Changing a font is a matter of backing up the original, making a copy of the font you prefer, and renaming the copy to match the original font.

Go to the font folder in the individual skin directory, data/skins/ootp blue/fonts for example. In the fonts directory, rename atomicclockradio to atomicclockradio original as a backup. Then make a copy of the vera file and rename it to atomicclockradio.

That last thanks I posted was for Battists and rdomico. With the new and improved 1.03 interface and a better scoreboard font the game will be looking much better.

Markus, any chance of getting the pictures and ballparks folders tied to the skin rather than default for everything? New skins lose some "uniqueness" if they all have to have the exact same background. Also, might be nice to have an old timey skin, say, that has an old timey ballpark for the broadcast screen.

The logos look great. I already have a different font so that looks good too.

Maybe I'll even get to like the little photos in the field.

I have just changed the default stadium graphic, the old one had a bad resolution and was too dark IMO. Also, I have added the team records to the team names above the field.

I like it Markus. Excellent for folks who use 1024x768. Thanks for the tweaks.

P.S. It's a shame that more people didn't like the 'cutoff' look for the logos. I was in your camp for that one. I thought it looks really snazzy.

I thought so too for a while, but I kept seeing truncations like "etroi" (Detroit) and that started to bother me. Better this way, I think. Anyway, the majority has apparently ruled on this one.

Awesome. I love the inclusion of the team records!

Is the "pause after each play" checkbox shown in your first screenshot new or have I just never noticed it? And why isn't it there in the second broadcast screenshot?
