After playing with the last update, 49, I noticed that for left handed throwers, the sleeve logo is upside down. Right handers are normal. This is with a logo on the right sleeve.

UPDATE:

Found the game controls to change the default camera view, and able to maneuver the text boxes to avoid blocking the field/player view. All good.

But the pitch location box is still overlapping. It looks like the info on the right, speed and type of pitch, got moved over too far left within the box, so that the slightly larger baseballs for each pitch (color based on ball/strike/in play) are superimposed on the slightly smaller baseballs showing actual location - making the latter hard to use. Call me obsessive; but I use the pitch speed, type, and location to evaluate my pitchers, as in “what type pitch and what location got whacked 460 feet to dead CF?”.

Problem is, it also messed with the width for 3D classic, which I use.

Figured it out, caused when I tried to save and swap back in my pre-update Ballparks folder, when I use the Ballparks folder from the new update.....catchers in full gear.

The evening and night views of Comerica Park have a problem with the background. There is a dark gray band behind the skyline that does not fit with the sky above for these two versions of the park model. See below.

Also notice the dark shading over the control panel on the right. This problem has persisted through the various versions of OOTP 22.

I took a look at this and it seems that the problem is that there are 2 backgrounds for this park. One is what I would call the built in background (which I think is a good one) which is in the two alphablend webp files. Behind that is what appears to be a sky box background. I removed the two sky box folders from the park folder but the second background did not go away. When I compare the sky box pictures that show in the game for Comerica to the pictures in the sky box folders I removed, they are not the same. The one in the games 2nd background looks like an old version sky box. It must have be 'hard wired' in the POD file or someplace as I can not find a way to remove it. Hopefully this will be fixed in the next update.

This issue is one of my biggest irritations. And it's not new to 22. It makes me wonder how someone can look at that over multiple versions and think, 'Eh, it looks fine.'

Here's an example of the exact same image being imported into the Primary and Secondary spots and they look different. There's like a gray grid on the Primary logo that seems to be only visible on white colors, but the blue is slightly darker, too.

Trying to hopefully help out any narrow this down, I thought the issue I'm having my be something related to a few things (bolding things below not as to shout them angrily but more as a TL;DR version):

The Background/Skin: It appears that the logo pattern on the first logo was like 20% transparent. The pattern coming through on the image appeared to be the pattern from the upper left of the default OOTP Dark Skin (which is where the primary logo mainly shows in the game. Changing the skin/background did not help.

The Folder Location of the Images: Each of my logos are saved to a folder on my Desktop (outside of the game folder). Changing folder location to something inside the OOTP or Logos folder did not help.

Image Size: Most of the logos I'm dealing with are around the 900x900 dimension. Shrinking them down to 300x300 seemed to help in the area of the game where you change your team's logos (logo on the right). However, now I'm seeing a different pattern, more grid like showing through the logos on the team home screen (logo on the left). It looks like the grid pattern is also part of the ootp skin, you can see it around the league name and all throughout the middle and right side of the background. So it appears the the skin somehow becoming part of the logos?

Okay, I figured it out and fixed it, at least in my game. Hopefully, it will get fixed properly in some up coming update. If you want details, send me a PM on here.

As the parks that come with OOTP22 now have built in backgrounds, similar to the the parks done by Silvam14 & ADion, why do the new parks also have sky boxes? If the skyboxes are removed (or renamed) in each new park folder then the sky pictures, day, evening & night, that are in the Misc/background folder show up. The background pictures are more realistic than the skies in the sky boxes and can be moded by those who may want to change them. Also, the night foreground part of the background for Comerica doesn't work as the sky is not transparent. I fixed it for my game but it was tedious removing the black sky.

When uploading leagues files to website, the progress bar at the top is appended instead of replaced after each file is uploaded. Still works, but now I have no idea how much longer is left in the process.

For example, see the 4, in the 9th inning? It was for a Dodgers leadoff single, so the numeral should be on the line where it's rising, to the left. But it appears the coding puts the numerals one play later (i.e., to the right) than the corresponding events.

The rewards for winning a quick tournament in PT22 are some quantity of Spk. In PT21 the reward was some quantity of Rpk. Now that Silver packs are a thing, should you go back to Rpk? Or are you planning to offer silver packs as prizes?
