I looked up the word "Clarion" and it is defined as a "medieval trumpet".
Maybe someone can come up with something using trumpets or bugles. |

Well, I thought it might look neat with not just a trumpet, but an animal as well, so here is my take:

I honestly had no idea what a Clarion was either, it just sounded cool so I went with it. Now I'm thinking maybe I should've found out what it was first.

I would think the Clarion logo should have a medieval coat of arms with 2 trumpets.
The king would call his court by heralding them with a trumpet (clarion) when he wanted to make an important announcement or have some special event. I have seen the word used mainly with newspapers...the Clarion-Ledger or Clarion-Herald comes to mind...I think it is in Mississippi...maybe Jackson. Jeremy only needs one more...Cloquet Clarions.
A "clarion" is a medieval trumpet. If you can't come up with something...just do a generic...with 1 or 2 "C's" inside a circle...done in Old English font...with CLOQUET above the circle in a circle...and CLARIONS below the circle in a circle. Make the logo a little larger than dbacks did...there is room to expand it. dbacks did something similar for me...the Albuquerque A's. here is the link http://thelogobank.net/view_album.ph...umName=album27 Last edited by Eugene Church; 09-26-2004 at 01:04 AM. |

Naturally, I would like it very much, if it was my request.
Let's see what Jeremy has to say...he's the final authority. |

Pat....... I was wondering if I might use your design for a little league team? Also if you might tell me how I could edit the Logo to meet my needs (remove the "Crookston") Thanx in advance.............Bobby
