Fictional league logo requests

Alright, I decided to make an 8 team solo fictional league to play around with in OOTP6. The premise of the league is it takes place in Minnesota and it's all smaller cities that normally wouldn't have baseball teams. The league is starting in 1990 as well so it's going to have a little bit of an older feel to it.

So basically I was hoping a kind soul or a few kind souls could help me out with the logos for the teams. I'm not asking for anything extravagant or superb by any means, just some nice clean logos I can use. Since the league is starting in 1990 it would be cool if they could have a little bit of an older feel to them to go along with the 90's theme.

The teams I have names for so far are the Ely Wombats and the Blue Earth Bricklayers. The other 6 teams need nicknames still so I'll have to wait on logos for those until I can come up with good names.

As far as the logos go for each team, I don't really have anything specific in mind. Since it's a solo league I'm not really overly concerned with team colors or anything of the like. So whatever colors you think would look good then you can feel free to use them.

Thanks in advance to whoever is kind enough to make me a few logos.

Hi, here's my two efforts. It's hard to make a wombat look anyhting but cute, so that's the route I took for him...

Well, since I finally have logos for those two teams I guess it's time to request logos for the remaining 6 teams. Anyone that's willing to help me out I'd be greatly appreciated. The remaining six teams are:

Cloquet Clarions
Crookston Crushers
East Bethel Cranes
Northfield Nine's
Red Wing Foresters
St. Peter Patriarchs

Nice logos, paulie.

Just a suggestion: Blue Earth lettering needs a trim on it...maybe white...so it will show up better...it kinda gets lost on the brick background.

Something like you did on the Ely lettering...which really shows up well.

paulie: Blue Earth looks fine...much easier to read.

pat: Foresters is mighty fine...very creative...really like the pull saw and the landscape background...the unique curved at the top border...and the placement of town and nickname.
