Depends on your definition of a low ball offer.

If it is real bad, then you do yourself no favors. I've seen many GMs continuously offer things that are honestly just hilarious and it gets them fired.

Best point so far. I really like to trade a lot with the teams I have in my leagues, but to me it's a waste of time if it will take 10 minutes of my day to explain a guy that Victor Zambrano for Vladimir Guerrero wouldn't be a fair deal.
Respect is very important in a good league, which is why you should give new owners/ newbies a few days before 20 Gm's try to get their best players.
