Yeah, that sounds like it would work. I haven't tried it, but simply inserting a blank line between the end of the trade and the next entry should work, too.
nestajones, The ltrans.txt file is in the Data Directory. On the Input tab of the Options screen in CatoBase, uncheck the box next 'Run Exporters and Copy text files to data folder'. The needed files are already in the data folder. If you don't uncheck this, it will overwrite your editted file with the original. You delete the season by clicking Database/Delete XXXX Season, where XXXX will be the last year in the database. I'm hoping to have the update ready this weekend, so you could also just wait for that, too. |

Let me just say that the draft reports are just plain kool as hell!
Quick question...on the yearly drafted players screen, is it possible to show where they played, like A, AA, AAA, or majors? Or maybe color code it? And maybe show the breakdown...maybe not. ![]() Ok, back to your regularly scheduled Catobase discussion... Last edited by RJolley; 07-02-2004 at 11:23 PM. |

The fix for ltrans works pretty good. But now, I've run into a problem where, when creating HTML pages for the website, CatoBase creates leaderboards for every year up until the current one (that's right, Year 0 through the first millenium, and the second, and into the third, 2004 CE - even though the league has been around for barely a handful of years)

Hi...I'm getting the same error as RayofHope...
"3021 erros about BOF or EOF being true but the current record has been deleted (?) and then immediately following those error 55's saying the file is already open (even though CatoBase is all I have open)." I was using version 6.0 and had no issues but decided to start a new league and use 6.1.1 and can't get past the above, any suggestions? Thanks, Paul |

I'm getting a similar error during HTML page generation w 6.1.1.
It gets through player generation just fine, and craters when generating league stats. I get "Error 94: Invalid use of Null has occurred" when generating a league index page, followed by a bunch of "Error 55: File already open has occurred" messages. -- Evan |

Guys, you might be able to get around the file open bug by closing catobase after importing stats. Then reopen the database and create the html files.
Not sure why that's happening, but it did happen to me once and I did that and it went fine. |

Khan,
Tried that, along with trying to run html generation off of the backup database. Same problem. -- Evan |
