Football - Charles Martin
Basketball - Bill Laimbeer, Vernon Maxwell

Hockey- Marty McSorley for that two handed whack to Brashear's head, talk about a black mark on the sport

Basketball- Bill Walton, He's just annoying as hell, yet keeps getting announcing jobs. Players, I'll start with Rasheed Wallace, along with every other idiot who says anything that comes into their head, or sounds like they didn't pass 4th grade. Or both.

Baseball- Bud Selig, Fehr, Scott Boras for negotiating through the media, Gary Sheffield for being an all around stain of a human being

Football- Anyone who keeps feeding the damn "LA might get a new NFL team" stories. All LA is right now is a negotiating ploy for other teams to get new stadiums/TV deals/whatever, it gets on my nerves.

I rather like him... his illegal stick in the 1993 NHL finals certainly wasn't a nuisance to the Canadien.

And my god, their talk radio was tough to listen to sometimes. Fans let their emotions override common sense all the time. It was a real rollercoaster with them. One week Ty Detmer was god and everyone wanted his jersey, the next week they wanted to run him out on a rail. Fans from other cities would have seen that he wasn't as good as he looked when he first played.

You surely have a point about using common sense, my arguement is some of the most famous incidents are either untrue or exagerated big time, the Irvin incident was one. Of course on the other hand there is no defending the JD Drew incident, lol.

Baseball - Sammy Sosa. Sid Bream.
Football - Jerome Bettis. The way he shakes his head and trash talks after every 3 and 4 yard gain irritates the hell out of me.
Basketball - Shaq. And, again, I don't even follow the NBA.
Hockey - Wayne Gretzky. I also have an nearly-irrational hatred of Kent Manderville, although I believe (nay, hope) he's out of the league now. Kip Miller sucks, too.
Auto Racing - Jeff Gordon.

I hate SHAQ. 1. He left my favorite team to go play in LA. 2. He has an offensive foul on every play and he never gets called for it (it was ok when he was in Orlando, but now that he is on the Lakers, I hate it). 3. He thinks he is funny but he is not. 4. He left my favorite team to go play in LA.

Football-Dan Marino(only because he was on the Bills chief rival for so many years, I like him more now that he has retired
Basketball-Robert Horry(the guy always seems to make huge shots for teams I am rooting against heavily)
Baseball-Dave Stewart
College Basketball-John Thompson while coaching Georgetown.
College Football-Pat Dye for going for that damn tie against SU.
Boxing-Mike Tyson

Note: Most of these guys I would have loved to have playing or coaching on my teams(except Dye)

Going over some of the previous replies I see someone I genuinely hate: Michael Irvin. I couldn't stand him when he played and I think I dislike him even more now.

Nice bump.

Ray Lewis' spiel is starting to get a bit old, but I don't hate him. All-time least favorite players? Hmmm...McCants from UNC is moving up the ladder because everytime he scores points or does anything positive on the basketball court he goes straight into "look at me!" mode.

Otherwise (active):

NBA - Kobe
MLB - Sheffield and Bonds
NFL - Eli Manning and Sapp

All-time
NBA - John Starks
MLB - Sheffield and Bonds
NFL - Deion Sanders and Eli Manning
