Break out the h8erade!
Okay, so we've been naming our all time favorite players, but how about our all-time least favorite?
Football - John Elway. I freaking HATE this guy. I don't know why; he seems like a nice enough person, but I HATE HATE HATE HATE GOD DAMN HATE JOHN GOD DAMN ELWAY HATE. Basketball - Karl Malone just barely edges out John Stockton because Stockton's silly pants earn him pity points. Baseball - Mark McGwire. I suppose it would be Barry Bonds, but he was never an Oakland Athletic so there was never that extra reserve of team-rivalry hatred for him. Sports Figure You Feel the Most Ambiguous About: Bart Giamatti. On the one hand, he showed tremendous balls in kicking Pete Rose out of the game. On the other hand, he also booted Dave Pallone from umpiring for being gay and (rumor has it) personally gave the word to sack Pam Postema. John Craven |

Yeah, I am with you on Elway and Malone. Malone in particular really bugs me. As with Elway, I'm not sure what it is, but I really freaking hate his guts. Maybe it his habit of speaking in the third-person without being over the top and hilarious like Rickey Henderson.

I'll tell you what I hate about Elway. Refusing to go to the Colts when they drafted him. I also believe there was an issue of him bringing his daddy to every coaching staff through college. Can't remember really though.
In basketball it's got to be Shaquille O'Neal. He seems nice enough but just too, too stupid. And his game is soooo boring. In baseball, I'm going Jeff Nelson. Never liked him before the bullpen incident and that just increased it. Do a search for him on the SmokingGun.com and you'll find an interesting incident between him and a homosexual clubhouse attendant. Truly a despicable human being.

Marty Turco, he's a diver, a whiner and really over rated. He has shown that with less defense he is nothing. Agree or not, I hate Marty Turco.

Emmitt Smith, Kurt Warner, Bill Walton.
Never liked Emmitt Smith, his riding the best offensive line ever and then refusing to retire just to get Walter's record really bothers me. Kurt Warner- Wife, dumb looks on the sidelines, always says the right things but I have a hard time buying into it. Bill Walton- "I would of passed it to the wing and then made a baseline cut. I guess you really can't teach court vision." |

I've got no beef with Shaq. Seems like a nice enough guy when it comes down to it. There's no way any normal human being can like Malone better than Shaq.
HATE HATE HATE Al Harris and Mike McKenzie. Respect Favre too much to hate him. |

What you got against really long thin dreads?? What are you...a dread-ist? Actually, for some reason, I hate them too. I've got no beef with Shaq. Seems like a nice enough guy when it comes down to it. There's no way any normal human being can like Malone better than Shaq. Shaq is supposedly a great guy. I just hate his absolute stupidity. And his game bores me to death. But he does seem nice, which makes hating him harder. But I manage. I can't stand Malone either, for what it's worth Edited out a grammar mistake. Given the atmosphere here over the past few days, I'm getting paranoid about the tiniest of mistakes.

I despise the Giants, especially Bonds and Matt Williams, the USC Trojans except Ronnie Lott, the Bulls, especially Pippen, and most NBA refs and MLB umps.

no one really
Although I 'groaned" never moreso, than when Scott Mitchell was QB of the Lions...and Jose Mesa last year almost beat that...almost, but then again, I've seen a Phillies WS in my lifetime, A Lions Superbowl...I think that schellacking by the Eagles in 99? is the closest I will ever come Does disappointment count?

Shaq....the type of **** he said to the media about Kobe or to Kobe was despicable. If Jerry West was still workin there, ooooh man he'd have fined his ass a nice chunk I believe.
EDIT: Isiah Thomas....who hates Larry Bird for being white and getting props for doing his job right Last edited by Jordan; 01-17-2004 at 09:56 PM. |

Oh and add one more to my list and he really should probably be way up around the top, KOBE BRYANT. I just don't like guys like him that always seem like they thing they are doing YOU a favor by talking to you which is the way he comes off in a lot of interviews, there's also some Philly crap going on with my dislike of him too but that's a longer story lol. |
