Windows or MAC?
Stand alone or Steam?

If MAC, Stand alone make sure previous installer has been removed (in trash). Otherwise someone else may have an idea.

I can't download it on my desktop but can on my laptop it says there is a network issue I need help downloading

Shut off your firewall on the desktop. Or just copy it from your laptop to the desktop.

the patch is corrupt and needs to be replaced it is not playable. This is an emergencyh and they need to respond with a replacement immediately

this is the only one I am having problems with all season. I have Microsoft defender, and Norton and razer thats why it is being rejected by my security software also windows security too. There is something going on with this edition it is corrupt some way and needs to be carefully examined I have also reissued windows 11 pro so I am up to date I have not had any problems with any editon including hotfix patch 27.2.60 which was the previous also I was able to download it on my laptop when the released was and I was able to downoad it with no problems but the desktop rejects it and refuses to download it I think maybe someone downloaded something on it that can't be detected

Could it be that you only downloaded the file partially?
Can you check the file against one of these hashes to make sure it's correctly downloaded:

It's not corrupt or a lot of users would be posting that they too were having issues. For whatever reason your computer/antivirus may be giving you a false reading. Your AV thinks there is a problem when there isn't.

Probably not needed, but it wouldn't hurt to disable Norton for 5 minutes while you copy the file, then re-enable it after.

The Mirror PC link to download the patch is corrupt it caused me problems and was detected by my Kaspersky software. No one should use the mirror link to download
