Astrolauncher94's Stadiums
Below is the link that will take you to the sketchup files of my stadiums. I only have the 1986 Astrodome uploaded at the moment, but will be adding as I finish projects along the way. I will also notify y'all here when I add something.

Fenway Park
Been working on stadiums in the background and have started to focus on current stadiums. Here is the WIP of Fenway. I also am working on Camden Yards, Daikin Park, and T-Mobile Park at the moment. Will post those screenshots later today.

Back From Hiatus
Long time no see OOTP community! I had gotten frustrated about not getting my models to work in the game, but after learning and having a ah-ha! moment, I am back at it and will be starting from the ground up on what I have already made. As Daikin Park is my home park, I have started with that and will attach what it looks like in-game. Still a lot of ads and what not to add, but you can see the progress. I will next go into the Astrodome and re-do that with what I've learned. I look forward to getting these out to ya'll and WORKING!

Daikin Update
Here's the more "complete" version with skybox included. We are at the 90% mark. My issue is going to be lighting. I saw a thread about using Blender to render the stadium lights and shadows? Tried loading my obj file into Blender and nothing showed up, so maybe I'm doing something wrong.

This is looking great! Just out of curiousity, is this to project to get the advertising correct over what is in the game?

Not particularly. Quite frankly the default Daikin is trash and nowhere near a good representation, so that was my motivation. I've built high detailed models of stadiums in the past for fun and finally found an outlet where it could be useful for others. On a side note, even the field is the wrong shape. Even in MLB The Show they all get the home plate areas wrong in size of circle and dirt paths leading out of the home plate area.

FWIW allegedly it's better importing DAE models but I've never had any luck with those either. Last edited by eriqjaffe; Today at 12:07 PM. |

Edit: Holy moly that price tag, I'm an educator so might be able to sneak my teacher email off as a educational email like I do Sketchup. I can swallow $150 a year, not $120 a month Last edited by astrolauncher94; Today at 03:31 PM. |
