I don't understand why the NBA allows goonery in the league. Isaiah Stewart is always in the middle of a fracas. Players like him and Dillon Brooks need special suspensions cause they are always instigating conflicts.

Tari Eason is fortunate he doesn't play hockey. Don't know how the Jazz let this guy walk out of the arena w/o any bandages what so ever. Hopefully he gets weeks worth of suspension.

I'm going to really show myself to be an old fart, but I don't care............

Bored tonight. So I decided to get a rare peak @ an NBA regular season game. Since the Hornets, you might think I'm lying, are actually decent this season. They are playing the Heat. And if you look at the standings, the play-in positions for the East conference is basically the entire south division.

So I turn on the game, and I had to wait 2-3 minutes just to figure out which team was which. Hornets colors are supposed to be teal & purple. Yet, they are playing on a blue court w/a yellow logo "bumblebee" in the midcourt. Wearing bright yellow & orange jerseys. Miami's colors are supposed to be red yellow w/black trim. They are wearing all black w/neon pink numbers & light blue trims w/the opposite on the lettering.

Of course, nobody is hurt by all this. But dang, man! Team colors don't mean crap anymore. It used to mean something. You used to take pride in them. It's no longer a franchise's identity.

I'm assuming they would move Memphis & Orleans to the east.

Amazing how Vegas didn't have a team less than a decade ago. And now they are about to become a 4 league city. Before places like Houston, St.Louis, Phoenix, Atlanta & San Francisco.

I live near St. Louis. The city (about 200k) is trying to merge with St. Louis County. This would make them the fourth or fifth largest city in the United States. They already have three sports, and deserve the NBA and NFL.

Our Rams sold out a 70k stadium for EVERY game of their existence, including pre-season games. This included the worst ten year stretch in NFL history. They ABSOLUTELY are an excellent football town.
