eventually I hope to make a 12-team Caribbean league, like tehsugi's leagues, and this would be one of the teams. I've done enough cities for a league already but I've been working on smoothing out some of the identities and making new ones.
Usually I just make things by whim and request, jumping around geographically, so it's been fun to try to think in terms of a unified league, with colors spread out and not too many birds, etc. So this Caribbean league also would be an attempt to be more plausible, with logos more based on real teams, and nothing too silly (except for the inevitable Orioles-inspired one)
* SC in this logo is for Santiago de los Caballeros. One of the issues in making a Caribbean league is that you've got teams in both Santiago de Cuba and Santiago de los Caballeros, which is why this team is called Cibao/Cibaeñas (like the real team).
So I'd use a S for Santiago de Cuba and a C for Cibao for Santiago de los Caballeros, but there'd be multiple teams that want a C hat logo (like MLB): Cibao, Caracas, Curacao, Cartagena, Camaguey..

That's totally fine - you're literally doing favors for internet strangers, and you do excellent work. I still use those Oakland Stompers/Chicago Municipals/Boston Skippers logos you made for me last year.

I was asked to do a version of the infamous New Jersey Swamp Dragons by Nicolino Di Benedetto. I love that whole story, but the cartoon dragon is too leery for me, I set out to draw a kawaii one based on Sumikko Gurashi (that is my process now). This is a dragon that is sort of a fusion of the dinosaur and the shrimp characters.
