Since Jay-Z took over the Super Bowl halftime, white people have basically been banned. Hadn't you noticed?
Honestly, Benny "Bad Bunny" Martinez being Latino is a bit beyond Jay's standard color line. Last edited by Amazin69; 09-28-2025 at 10:31 PM. |

Ties are dumb and should not exist in professional sports. I will die on this hill.

I only partly agree. I'm ok with ties as long as they are not counted as anything. They should not count for anything in the standings. Record it as a tie, but omit it in the win percentage.

No, you can't tell. No one can tell anything after one game.

If you saw enough Giants games, you can tell. This guy passed, ran, drove his team downfield. No one in a Giants uniform has done that since Manning.
Is it premature? Perhaps. But I am sticking with my impression until proven otherwise.

Pump the brakes, dude. Everyone is giving Dart credit for the Giants playing good defense.

Yeah, yeah, I guess. You see how starved we are for a quality QB and a well-run team? And this is coming from somebody who wants to be an ex-Giants fan in his striving for Pan-Sportsism. That is, a rising above the toil and trouble of parochial sports team rooting, especially in New York.

It's just the hype, the New York media hype. Wish they'd do some real evaluation instead of trying to become the center of the sports universe by pitching their latest vat of snake oil. Most narcissistic bunch of histrionic meatheads.

I know backup QB's aren't supposed to be good. But Browning really is @ butt level.

The Broncos completely dominated them…and I don't think the Broncos are that good.
TBH, I'm a bit surprised the skilled Cincy players on offense couldn't do more to lift Browning's boat. Dobbins was ready to step up when Nix struggled…who did that for the visitors? |

Mac Jones is a baller. Injured ridden Niners are 4-1. Amazing!

I swear, I just saw Bryce Young react to an impending sack by putting the football aside, as if for safekeeping.
No, Bryce, even in college, that's a fumble. Maybe that's his "bear" response? "If I distract Bradley Chubb with this tasty treat, he won't eat me and I can get away"? I mean it worked, but… |

Dolphins drove down the field and converted Bryce's TO into a TD. They lead the Panthers 10-0, one play into the 2nd Quarter.
Meanwhile on CBS, the truck puts up a graphic showing that the Eagles average 251 YPG, which is the lowest for a 4-0 team since the 1941 Giants. Jim Nantz challenges Tony Romo to name a member of that Giants team, but neither he nor Nantz can do so. I'm proud to say that I had an answer, instantly. (He is a Hall of Famer who spent his entire career with New York, but that's still reasonably impressive.). Perhaps, I should be worried that this is the sort of thing I take pride in, but still. Did anybody else have that reflex kick in? |

Bryce responds to the Miami TD by coming out and completing two quick passes, the first to Teitaroa McMillan and the second to Mikah Fitzpatrick. Unfortunately for Carolina, Fitzpatrick is a safety, playing for Miami.
FOX goes to commercial, playing "Believer" by Imagine Jingles. Aside from my general disdain for Dan Reynolds and his band of Plastic Pitchmen, I can't say I have much belief right now. Tua Throwtheballwella zaps a few quick passes, the last to the currently-sober Darren Waller in the end zone. 17-0, Cetaceans. You know, ever since I gave up on the Traitors, I've sort of been searching for a new team. I think I may be feeling the nascent stirrings of an attachment to the Panthers. This sense of disgust certrainly feels…familiar. (It does help that Carolina is a member of the diminishing number of teams who have yet to have thier uniforms ruined by a Nike "revision". Giants, Packers, Cowboys, Traitors, Colts, Steelers, Panthers and possibly San Francisco, and I think that's it. ) Bryce just rolled way outside to evade the rush and found McMillan, who kept going all the way across the field, for a gain of 30. I didn't cheer…but I did raise an appreciative eyebrow. Hmm… ETA: I forgot the Chiefs, which is just understandablle self-defense. (All else aside, I've just never liked the red-yellow combo.) And perhaps the Bears…I thought I'd seen a Nike abomination with a big "CHI" over the chest numbers, but I can't find any evidence of that. So good for Da Bearce.
