Marcano is set as retired in the db. Maybe the data we get for the live start unretires him there, if he's somehow technically still on a roster. Can check that, but if it is a data thing, might not be much we can do. He's set with a 3000 day injury though, so shouldn't be playing in any case.

Set each of the other four guys to be retired now, thanks.

It's mostly a matter of checking performance at a high level and looking for way over/under performing guys and also reading articles that come up on BA/Fangraphs etc. If a guy gets flagged in an article we happen to catch, they have a much better chance of getting updated. It doesn't hurt to mention someone here that we might have missed like, like you did with Misiorowski.

Everything is heavily draft focused right now, but I'll take another look at him.

EDIT: Checked him out and boosted his current ratings considerably and tweaked his potentials as well.

Yeah the issue is with the livestart. In previous saves of mine his "restricted list" is just a 1 day injury, and he occasionally makes it back to the bigs. I always use Commish Mode to force-retire him whenever I start a new day to prevent this.

Plus I don't think Marcano should still be on an MLB/MiLB roster anymore; last I checked, he's playing in Venezuela

Alessandro Ercolani should also have Italian nationality (pitched for Italy in the 2023 WBC)

Micah Bucknam should have secondary Canadian nationality

Billy Carlson should have secondary Mexican nationality

Thanks for the info on the updates. Will the Miz update make it into the hotfix? Might be worth a restart to get those (only one season in on my latest save). He has the potential to be good for several years.

Yeah, that's in there.

Actually so are updates for most all of the guys who are significantly outperforming their projections. Might've missed a few, but should have the majority.

As well as some tweaks for guys having unexpectedly bad seasons too.

Oscar Marin (Pirates pitching coach) was born on 5 December 1982 in Los Angeles CA.

The Pedro Guerrero who in-game is the Marlins HC is the wrong Pedro Guerrero. The correct one (Manny Acta's nephew) isn't in the game as a coach yet, but his minors ID is guerre003ped.

Paul Skenes throws seven pitches. Fastball, slider, changeup, splitter, curveball, sinker, cutter. Also, his birthplace and personality could both use updates: he was born in Fullerton CA, and I'd suggest making him either be Humble or Captain, given that he's already the Pirates' players union rep.

Kristopher Negron is the Mariners 3BC.

As of the start of the year, Chris Truby was the Indianapolis Indians manager. (He was promoted to the Pittsburgh coaching staff after Shelton was fired, and Shawn Bowman is now the manager in Indy. But that's something for next year.)

Casey Candaele is the AAA Buffalo manager.

Pat Murphy (Brewers manager) could use a wholesale refresh. His minors ID is murphy006pat, and he was born on 28 November 1958 in Syracuse NY

Justin Lebron was born in New York, NY

The coaches won't have a Historical Minors ID field when they are in-game as coaches. The field there is for their non-minors ID (only former MLB'ers get one).

Updated Skenes' city of birth.

The roster team can review the rest as I don't often touch coaches.

Found a few minor league players who have exact duplicates (minus a few rating differences) on the teams they are on. This is the default roster and not on a Live Start.

1. Endy Rios DSL Padres Brown
2. Edinson Hernandez Padres ACL
3. Joseph Herrera Padres ACL
4. Esteban Romero DSL Astros Blue
5. Efrain Cubilla DSL Rockies 2

I only found those five because the clones were on the same exact team so when sorted by player name it became obvious.
