Q For Expansion team Ball park and team strategy

So I'm quite new to the game. Started two weeks ago.

Created an expansion team in Nashville but I could not find anywhere how a ballpark can affect what players you should go for. All I found was that it was relevant and important. But how to read the data?

So my Q is with my Legacy Park for Nashville (see screenshot) what type of players should I go for (both Battlers and Pitchers) and who should I avoid?

Thank you in advance.

IMO, park factors don’t matter too much. But since you asked, go here for more info.

I agree that, in general, PFs don't matter much. And I also don't think they matter that much with your particular park. We could argue over the exact numbers, but if your PFs are in the .9 to 1.1 range, I wouldn't really worry too much about tailoring my roster to them. If you had some that were like .8 or 1.2, however, then you probably should.

Let's consider some well known parks. Yankee stadium and its short RF. Its LH HR is 1.11. And so, okay, some LH power bats might be good, but no need to go crazy with them. Fenway with its huge CF-RF gap has some pretty good 2B and 3B PFs, so maybe leverage that with some speedy batters with some gap power, but again there's no real need to go crazy. Coors Field HR PFs aren't nearly what some people might think they should be, but look at that 3B PF: 1.35! The trick there is to get some OFs with great range and some speedy batters. But also keep in mind there are not a lot of triples hit in baseball in general. Finally, look at the Great American Ballpark (Cincinnati) which is known as the best HR hitting ballpark in modern times. Its LH HR PF is 1.24 while its RH HR PF is 1.15! I would definitely tailor my roster for that park with some HR hitters and some groundball pitchers. But honestly, you could get away with totally ignoring PFs with most parks.

Anyway, it's not rocket science like it may seem to be. Just keep in mind that LH power hitters are usually known for pull hitting to RF while RH power hitters are usually known for pull hitting to LF and you should be able to make sense of what to do from there.
