Lee Ju-heon, catcher for the LG Twins, has a fictional name in the game so I have a question about how KBO License works.

He has a cup of coffee in the KBO last year and made the team as the back up catcher this year so I am confused about him. I know you don't have all the real Futures league players so I assume you can't use some of them until they debut in the KBO. Are there other limitations that affect players like this?

I don't know all the players on the other teams so I'd like to figure this out before I start playing so I can edit any other players in this situation.

AZ: Eduardo Rodoriguez has opt out after 2025 in the game, but he doesn't have opt out clause and does have mutual option for 2028

What year is it that he is a Cardinal and what does the player transaction screen say? Are minors on or off and are players supposed to be imported to their real teams or not? He was an NeL’er and so may have appeared in-game before Dodgers signed him.

1941 is the year. He's a 19 yr old and he's the Cards starting catcher!
Minors are on and players are supposed to be imported in their real teams is set I know what happened. I removed the color barrier so the rat b*stard Cardinals signed him out of the NeL. Typical Cardinal thing to do. I will have him somehow Seriously I'm really annoyed. He's gonna be a huge piece for the Cards. Refuse to play with the color barrier on though.

We get a list of players from the KBO who we're allowed to use each year. I do not know what the criteria is. We're still on last year's list currently though, as we have not gotten this year's yet. So this will likely change soon for quite a few players.
