Would be nice to see proof of this over empty claims. You claim the Dev Lab is broken but, it is not. You just have not scouted your players in months and then when the dev lab finishes, all that comes flowing through...

Also, are you really sure it was $40 mil per year or was it a total of $40 mil and like an AAV of $8mil per year cause teams can't sign over their budgets. At least I have never seen this and it is not a reported bug AFAIK and something like that would have been reported already.

It's not good to go claiming things and not being able to prove it, but if you do have actual proof, might be a good thing to report a bug like that so it can get fixed and the Devs will also want proof of this and your game files so they can see what's going on in your game. So, make sure if you are claiming this you can back it up.

How about you chill with the gatekeeping on every single critical thread. The self-assigned duty of Truth Commission and Evidential Standard Solon is insulting. People have lives; they don’t sit around all day dreaming up (often remarkably similar) complaints that they can weaponize on message boards. Nor are they all so beholden to confirmation bias and the like that their observations should be disregarded without assembling a documentary case file. Yet you insist on responding to these accounts as they are each either ill-intended or benignly fallacious. This despite the great majority of those claims come from sources with no track record of specious or baseless complaints. If anything, it is you who has the track record that would make one question either your objective or objectivity when responding.

1. If a person has an issue with the game, perhaps they ought to keep discussion about that issue in the thread they started it in.

2. If said issue seems like it's maybe not an issue and people say this in that other thread and then they start complaining about that issue in a different one, you should really expect the people saying "no, that's not a thing" to move along to the new thread.

3. You can outright can the "waaaah truth police" crap, no offense (but take offense if you want, I don't really care). This is a game that is built up on years and years and reams and reams of data. You want to convince the developers to take time away from fixing some other, documented issue to fix this one, you need to... document it. Sometimes the screenshot is enough (like here in this case, yeah, a guy who wants a minor league contract but doesn't want that kind of a minor league contract should be more precise). Sometimes, frankly, someone needs to demonstrate that there's an issue outside of "noise seems to have swamped my development lab".

4. Beta testers can be pretty prickly about this stuff, it's true, and maybe we should be less so. It's especially unfortunate that in this case someone appears to have uncovered a real and actionable bug only for it to be a little bit drowned out by someone else's unrelated whining. I like that the moderators don't automatically kick stuff like this out (also that's an awful lot of work) but the side effect is that maybe it'll be harder for a dev to see the initial issue here. Again though, that's not the fault of the devs or the beta team or even the members of the beta team who choose to feed the trolls.

Or post it in the technical support section... last time I have my game crash over and over I didn't came here "my game is broken and that game is a buggy mess" mode, I just said what was the problem and after sending my league file it was fixed. Now that was a long time ago, OOTP12 I think, but the crash never happen again and I've bought every version since...

All that to say that if you have a problem in the game bring it reasonably and someone will give you a solution or a developer will fix it if it is indeed a bug and not a misunderstanding of the game logic.
