In the first inning of yesterday's game versus Great Raft, Sierra Nevada Narwhals left fielder Shane Lunday stepped to the plate in the first inning and cranked the first pitch he saw into the right field stands. While the Great Raft home crowd didn't have much to say about it, Narwhals fans applauded the accomplishment as that home run notched number 300 for Lunday's Beer League career.

"Would rather have the win", Lunday remarked after the 13-3 loss, when asked about the milestone.

Lunday becomes the 16th member of the 300 home run club.
