Can't get pass firewall
Tried downloading to my new computer - windows 11 s mode. it wont open. It worked fine on my last computer - but it doesn't get past the download. Any ideas anyone. I disabled the firewall and it still doesn't work

Are you getting the "Windows protected your PC" window? If yes, click "more info" and then "run anyway".

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about that. As long as you got OOTP from a legit source, like Steam, it's safe. I've been downloading OOTP for 20+ years and never gotten a virus or malware from them.

Click on "Advanced App Settings" and then from "Choose where..." select one of the "Anywhere..." options. Choose the first if you think that you won't accidentally install something that isn't safe one day and choose the third if you think you might. EDIT: choosing the 3rd will, IIRC, popup a warning window that might annoy you or might safe you.

Ah, I had never heard of S mode before.It sounds like you can get out of it, but you can't get back to it.
