I'm not talking about OOTP 25, I'm talking about Official OOTP Korean community which Com2Us made before.

As it says Official, when we search OOTP in Korea, they are top of search result.
But Manager never support their problem, never notice updates and THEY EVEN DON'T SAY OOTP 25 IS RELEASED!!

OOTP is still new IP in Korea so most of users are never heard OOTP.
So when they search for this new Baseball game, the things they will see first are abandoned Official commynuty and long time no updated game.

First answer which I can say easiest.
No. both keywords "OOTP" and "Out of the park baseball" do not show this forum in Google KR.
Top of the result shows Korean Wiki site, official English OOTPD site and steam page is shown.

Since google is not primary search engine in Korea, I searched both in Naver(which most Korean's search engine), It only shows few game magazine news about OOTP and OOTP community made by Com2us is shown.

So this is No and Never. they will even don't know this great game have a great community.

I think It's not allowed to say about other communities even It's a official. Local rule or something. It's not sure but It's something like a rule in Korea. Say only what you can see here blah blah.

But I tried. Actually we have local Korean OOTP Community which is unofficial and annonimous. Altough It's not a major community, but still 200+ posts are comming up for every week.

We share bugs, share solutions and share some interesting reports that they study .I bet we have more studies for OOTP engine than here. (You know, Koreans are srious in their game. even It's a Single player game. They want to open informations for everything)

In there, Local community, I keep post about here, OOTP Forum.
Because If you have a bug, technical issue, suggestions, or complain, Nothing will changed in there. so I said go to OOTP Forum and say to devs. there is a Korean thread so you can even post in Korean and will more effective than say in local.
I don't know this was help or not but me who love OOTP and really want OOTP be better in future, I will do what I think right.

Anyway, since It's not major site and hard to find with simple search, still new users don't know even we have Local community in Korea.

+) Also Forum style site are not major in Korea. actually there are no Forums in Korea. We use Reddit style. This also make Korean user don't want to come here because It's not friendly and they don't want to be rude since they don't know forum rule. and they are not friendly English words too. they feel hard to read English. they will skip english haha.

For me, I also studied hard about forum. That's why I came here last year but left soon. I felt like I'm doing something wrong.

beside, It was a big challenge for me to come here, Native forum, too.
I don't know English, I didn't know about forum style and I don't want to be seen like a spammer or troll. I worried so much because everythings are new thay I've never seen in Korean internet.

But I decided to get brave. because we share a lots bugs and complained ourself but I knew talking with us will never get fixed or changes. What I post here about bugs and suggests are mostly came from community. not my own.

Also after I post about forum in our local, I can see some new Korean users in Forum too. I still don't know this will help to devs but I know Koreans wanted to say something but they didn't know where they should go.

also, they will look sometimes rude or spammer but I want to say if you can, please forgive them and please tell them what is right or worng. that's because they still don't know well.

That's all very interesting. Thank you for posting it. I'm sure it will be interesting to the OOTP devs too, if they don't already know. If I were them, I'd definitely want to improve OOTP's search engine optimization (SEO) in Korea, and probably in other countries as well.

Oh, I know, yes, they are very much. Unfortunately, a lot of our people like to be kept in the dark about things, but there are some of us who like to know everything we can. I'm sure some of us would be extremely interested in the results of the studies Koreans have made.

Oh, that is interesting too. It took me a very long time to get used to Reddit's non-chronological style as I grew up on boards like ours here, but now that I have I like it very much that I can read what others have deemed the most important posts and then skip the rest if time is short. With our old style here sometimes we have to say, "no, I don't have enough time to read that thread right now, maybe later". If we ever update our forum software, I'd definitely advocate for more of a reddit style.

I should say, I wonder how the users of your community in Korea would feel about that community being closed and their only option being to come here. I suspect not every one of them would be comfortable making the switch. I would understand it might make sense from a business standpoint, but I do wonder if it would be overall detrimental to your existing community. I'm sure it would be very frustrating for us if we were told, "we're moving to Discord; if you want to keep up with all the latest info, find it there". Some of us, including myself, have a very negative opinion of Discord and would not like to make that switch. I dislike Discord so much I would probably walk away from the community entirely. Maybe some of your community would feel the same about us. So maybe closing that community wouldn't be the best choice. Maybe the best choice is to just leave it as it is, but to just keep encouraging them to try our community when they feel comfortable doing so. And if they don't feel comfortable, then at least they're still fans of the game.

"Something wrong", like not following our customs you mean? I like to think most of us are pretty welcoming to new people and accepting of their missteps, especially those who are polite. I say keep encouraging other Koreans to come try out our boards here. I know there aren't many of us here who speak Korean, but even if we have to speak through translators maybe we can help each other. Besides, it's nice to make new friends with strangers.

And if you or others ever feel that someone here is being rude to you, please feel free to make use of the little red and white triangle icon with the exclamation mark under our avatar images. That reports the post to us moderators. We're maybe too lenient when it comes to long-time users interacting rudely to each other, but when it comes to a long-time user being rude to a newcomer I like to think we're a bit quicker to tell the not nice person to be nice or else.

I said with strong words like force or close but actually, What I wanted to say was, devs(or someone) to do something to Com2Us. Because the official thing do nothing and that will give bad image to users.
At least if they who assert Official don't exist, people try to go somewhere even unofficial community because there are 2-3 availavle OOTP community in Korea. But at least Community exist which assert official, players will go there first and they will be disappointed if they start to know official do nothing with their game.

I've seen many users give up buying OOTP or getting angry because of the offical and this makes me sad.
